A track training session is a structured running workout held on an athletics track. Sessions focus on improving speed, endurance, running technique and overall fitness through guided interval training.
Everyone! Whether you're training for your first 5K or chasing a new personal best, the session is designed for all abilities. You'll train at your own pace alongside others of a similar level.
Not at all. If you can comfortably jog, you'll be able to take part. Coaches provide guidance and alternative options where needed.
When you register, we'll ask for your current 5K personal best (or an estimated time). This helps us group runners of a similar pace so everyone gets the most from the session.

The session lasts approximately 60 minutes, including the warm-up and cool-down.

Yes, via the website or our app. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate walk-ins once the session is full.
No. The track has a maximum capacity, so only participants with a confirmed booking will be admitted.
Track sessions take place on the first Saturday of every month, subject to availability.
Yes. If you can no longer attend, please cancel as early as possible so your place can be offered to someone on the waiting list. However your booking is non-refundable.
Parking is available on site. Please be mindful how you park as we are located within a residential area. Please allow plenty of time to arrive and check in before the session starts.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the session starts. This gives you enough time to check in, warm up and be ready to begin on time.
If you're returning from injury, please consult a healthcare professional before attending and let the coach know before the session starts. Alternative options may be available depending on your condition.
Track sessions usually go ahead in most weather conditions. If severe weather makes the session unsafe, participants will be contacted with further information.
